Apply for residency in Filmresidens Halland
The residency means that a filmmaker may come to Halland and Katrineberg Folkhögskola's film house for a period in the fall of 2023, in order to deepen a project or their work. The last day for the application is March 19.

The film residency offers filmmakers an opportunity for in-depth work in an out-of-home location. The work is based on the needs of the filmmaker and can be, for example, script writing or practical filming.
Announced: 16 January 2023.
Application deadline: 19 March 2023.
Notification: May 1, 2023.
Residency period: Optional period during autumn 2023, in consultation with the place of residency. The residency can be for a period of a maximum of 1 month, or a shorter period in the event that two or more filmmakers in collaboration want to share a residency period.
Target group: Professional filmmakers from all over Sweden.
The film residency is carried out in collaboration between Region Halland; Culture in Halland – Film and Katrinebergs Folkhögskola; the film line, with the support of the Norwegian Cultural Council.
