Beyond Entertainment 2.0
This webinar is meant to inspire creators to enter into a deeper conversation between the life they live and the stories they create. Our exploration of the relationship between reality and creativity will start in our current circumstances and take us on a journey through the perennial philosophy as well as real life stories of some of the most accomplished screenwriters of our time. Some of the questions we will be looking at:
- When writing to reach mass audience, what is the relationship between truth, responsibility and entertainment?
- Is it possible to write a fierce story without living a fierce life?
- Is it possible to remain hidden, invulnerable and still create something of lasting value?
- When it comes to truly great stories, is the writer really the creator or the one being created - the one being rewritten?
